Our efforts in the field of secondary education started in Gorakhpur in 1968. In the very beginning, the idea of having separate land and building for the Secondary School, from the campus of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Pakkibagh, Durgabari, Gorakhpur, came into the mind of our local workers keeping in mind the all round development of the students. So, the efforts for the land building were started. the then principal of the school and works of The then Principal of the school Due to the efforts of late Rabindranath Mishra, and local Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Gorakhpur, two acres of land was obtained at a place called Suryakund in the metropolis. In view of the need land in order of land parchase at, a plot of three acres was purchased Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar. The school construction work that started at a rapid pace and now a huge school building is built with modern amenities. The society appreciated this innovative experiment in the field of secondary education. In 1968, the school which started with six students in class VI has currently 1775 students from the class 6th to 12th.
The activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, members of the management committee and the Vidya Bharati suggested that the school should have a separate hostel. After consideration, one acre of land was purchased at Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar, where a huge hostel with modern amenities (Bhaurao Deoras Chhatra Nilayam) has been built where about 300 students have residential facility.
